Pizza Pizza is another fast-food chain you might run into—especially if you’re in Canada. All of their locations serve halal pizza and wings, and they clearly state which menu items are halal.
3. Mary Brown’s
Another Canadian fast-food chain that serves halal-certified chicken in certain of its locations is Mary Brown’s. The crispy fried chicken and chicken sandwiches that we sampled from Mary Brown’s were quite enjoyable and are among the most popular menu items at this chain, but we are not certain that all items on their menu are halal.
We recommend checking with the individual restaurant before placing an order if you are in Ontario, Alberta, or another province where Mary Brown’s operates.
4. Osmow’s
Osmow’s is a fully halal chain that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and is quite popular in both Ontario and Alberta. While we can speak for the Osmow’s locations in those provinces, we cannot be certain of the halal status of a restaurant in Manitoba or British Columbia, where the chain is also present. Once again, we recommend checking before ordering.
